Delighted to be heading down to London in June for a face to face qualification delivery programme over 5 days at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London. There will be three candidates on the course, one from Moorfields; one from Whittington Health NHS Trust and one from St Georges NHS Trust. Toggle developed this qualification in partnership with the healthcare waste managers from NHS England National Performance Advisory Group on Waste. We then asked the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management if they would consider being the awarding body for the qualification in England; Walers and Northern Ireland. They agreed to this and we worked with them to update the original qualification into the current qualification unit layout. We have been delivering the qualification since before Covid 19 and during that period it was delivered as an online vocational qualification. Since the COVID restrictions have been lifted we have been able to offer a number of delivery options to candidates and we are pleased to see the return of the face to face delivery option.
