Training

Training with others
The staff at Toggle Learning have decades of experience in developing and delivering large scale capacity building programmes to public sector institutions through European Union funded technical assistance projects. These projects normally run for between two and three years and involve a comprehensive process of training and skills needs analysis; baseline data benchmarking; capacity building measures design and then finally delivery and evaluation.
The staff at the Centre have developed and delivered these training programmes to stakeholders in Environment Ministries; Environment Agencies and Environment Inspectorates and across several EU Accession States. These comprehensive and often technically complex training programmes have been developed to build capacities within the waste and environment regulatory framework of the EU Acqui. They reflect a blended learning approach which is a combination of theory; best practice examples; group working and practical field work.

Staff at the Centre have also been responsible for the development of smaller training modules and programmes for the private sector in the UK and based around workplace delivery. Our staff have provided modules on Environment Crime – Evidence Management and Needlestick management for railway workers.
