Child Learning
Toggle Learning will provide both adult and child learning services which will include the development and delivery of vocational qualifications; as an approved Chartered Institution of Waste Management Centre (CIWM), the delivery of the waste management qualifications in the CIWM (WAMITAB) competence framework; development and delivery of bespoke training and awareness programmes and development of child learning packages for pre-school; primary and secondary level pupils.
The key objective of Toggle Learning Limited is to develop and make available a range of high quality, curriculum based educational resource packages, at an affordable price point, to support teaching in the UK.
A selection of options for accessing the resources will be available on our website.
There will be a strong focus on STEMA (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Art) activities, and outdoor learning (with links to the Green Flag and John Muir school awards) correlated to a variety of topic areas which will cover the experiences and outcomes set out in the curriculum.
Initially we will develop the resources, based on the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) in Scotland, at First Level. The second phase will see the addition of further topics, expanded across Early and Second Level
The key products and services that Toggle Learning Limited intends to provide are:
- High quality, engaging, topic-based workbooks mapped to the curriculum (available as hard copies and licensed digital downloads) with strong links to STEMA and outdoor learning
- Comprehensive teacher’s notes provided with each workbook, outlining how the topic is mapped to the curriculum and offering corresponding assessment guidance
- The option to buy a package, associated with each workbook topic, containing all the materials needed to carry out the activities within the workbooks
- A members-only secure area where members will have unlimited access to supporting PPT presentations linked to the developed workbook topics and other small-scale resources (which can be used independently of the purchasable workbook)
By combining these aspects, Toggle Learning aims to be a one-stop-shop educational resource platform – where teachers can plan full curriculum delivery, based on all the resources available on the site – at a flexible yet affordable price-point.
